Staples Center Seating Chart For Concerts, Kings, Clippers & Lakers

Staples Center Seating Chart

After revisiting the Staples Center for a Kings game, I was compelled to update our Staples Center Seating Chart guide (since we’ve become much better at reviewing seating charts)

This guide provides 3d Staples Center seating chart, tips and information on seat numbers, row numbers, and more. So whether you’re going to a Concert, a Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers, or LA Kings Game, we’ve got all the information you need to decide which seats to buy.

Expert Tip: The 100s verse the 200s are very similar, however the 300s are significantly worse.

Los Angeles Kings Seating Chart

  • The Kings shoot twice on the side with section numbers 114 to 117.
  • The Kings Bench is located in front of section 101-102 and the Visitor’s Bench is in front of section 119-101.
  • If you are looking for tickets in the 100s do not pay a premium for rows 3 to 10, instead, look for the tickets higher than row 15 (for the best views). This will allow your view to clear the glass and make it easier to follow the play. When comparing sightlines, tickets in the premier sections are just as good if not better for Kings hockey games.

TickPick uses algorithms to make sure you get the best bang for your buck and charges no service fees, so when you shop for Cheap Kings tickets on TickPick you know you are getting the best deal!

LA Lakers & Clippers Seating Chart

Note: The LA Clippers and LA Lakers seating chart is the same exact seating configuration, except some small differences with the court-side and baseline seats.

  • Court-side seats are located in front of sections 100, 102, 112, and 119. They are in front of row 1 and are labelled row A or B.
  • Sections 105-108, 115, and 116-117, also have lettered rows in front of row “1″. Rows A thru M come before Row 1, so row 1 is actually the 14th row.
  • The LA Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers Bench is in front of section 119 and the visitors bench is in front of section 102.

Staples Center Seating Chart Seat NumbersStaples Center Seat Numbers

Seat numbers are consistent for every section: the lower seat numbers are always closer to the section next to it with a lower section number. Seat 1 in section 111 will be on the aisle next to section 110, and seat 21 will be on the aisle next to section 112. This is true for all hockey and basketball games as well as concerts (even for the floor sections).

Tips on Which Staples Center Seats to Buy For Sports

100′s Sections:

  • Staples Center SeatingThese are the closest seats to the action for any King’s hockey game (row 1 is against the boards), but for the Clippers, Lakers, and concerts these sections are extended so that there are letter rows in front of the number rows.
  • For all of the 100s sections (for non hockey games) there are between 2 and 13 additional rows, except for the corner sections which don’t have letter rows in front of row 1.
  • There are typically 20 to 22 seats in a row, the corner sections will have a lot less seats per a row in the lower row numbers.

Premier Sections (Sections 1-18):

  • These single and double digit sections are the lowest numbered, but not the lowest sections. The Premier Sections are mid-level.
  • Premier Sections begin with Section 1 located in the corner of the stadium and continue along the width of the arena until Section 9. The same thing occurs on the opposite side of the stadium, beginning with section 10, and ending with section 18.
  • These seats get their name for a reason.  Premium Seats come with in-seat food and drink services, VIP entrances and exits, preferred parking, and complimentary entrance to the San Manual Club.

200′s Sections:

  • They share the same mid-level as the Premier seats but without the amenities.
  • The 200′s sections are located on the ends of the arena and are on the same level as the premier sections.

Suite Level Seating:

  • Suite Levels A, B, and C are located between the 200′s and 300′s sections.
  • Suite Levels A and B are horseshoe shaped, beginning in a corner of the arena at Suite 1 and continuing clockwise 3/4ths of the way around the arena, ending at 56 for A or 62 for B.
  • Suite Level C wraps all the way around the arena, but the Suites at the end of the arena are labeled E, followed by a number.
  • These seats have the same amenities as the Premier Sections.

300′s Sections:

  • These are the upper level seats. They are the most economic option, but also the farthest up.
  • The sections begin with 301 in the middle of the arena and continues around until the last section, 334, meets 301

Staples Center Concert Seating Chart

  • Rows: Using the interactive seating chart for the Staples Center above you can hover over any section and see the number of rows in each section.
  • Seat Numbers: The seat numbers for floor sections follow the same logic as the rest of the venue, therefore, seat 1 in any section will be closer to the adjacent section with a lower section number. For example, seat #1 in section Floor 2 (F2) will be on the aisle closer to section F1 and seat #14 will be next to F3.
Floor Seats – The Best Staples Center Seats for Concerts
  • Any seats in the first 10 rows of the center floor section are considered “the best seats”. Seats in rows 11 to 20 are great as well.
  • For concerts we don’t recommend sitting in section 4, 5, or 6 on the floor. The floor has no elevation so the likelihood is that your view will be blocked. You would be much better off with seats in the 100s.
  • Seat 1 in F1 and F4 (is on the left side of the stage when you are facing it) is the farthest from the center of the stage, so the higher the seat number the better the seat in these sections. However, when looking at tickets in section 3 or 6, the lower the seat number the closer you are to the center of the stage.
  • Because most people don’t know this, the best Staples Center concert seats (at the best prices) are the side floor sections that are closer to section 2, such as the high seat numbers in section 1 or low seat numbers in section 3.
100s – Some of the Best Seats
  • The best seats off the floor are sections 112 and 119, sections 101 and 111 being the next best. When looking for concerts tickets on TickPick, we use algorithms to help you figure out what’s the best seat for the best price, via our score report.
  • The 15th row in section 112 is somewhat equivalent to the 10th row in section 111, which would be equivalent to the 5th row in section 110. So a simple rule of thumb is that the difference in view, from one section to the next, is the same difference one would encounter by moving up or down 5 rows.
Premier Sections and 200s
  • The premier seats and section 200s are actually very close and sometimes similar to the 100s (see pictures below). Rows 17 to 20 in the 100s practically touch these sections, so the price difference should only be marginal. In our experience you can get good deals by going for lower row numbers in these sections verse the 100s.
The 300s
  • Staples Center Seat ViewsThe further you get from the stage, the less important the exact seat location is & the more important price is. The 300s are significantly higher than the other sections. Therefore prices should be significantly cheaper, if they’re not, spend a couple extra bucks to sit in the lower sections.

i have tickets to katy perry friday section pr 10 row 1 seat 1 and 2
saturday is section floor 6 row 1 seat 7 and 8
    which is better?
the stage is set up differently so do you think the floor seats will be bad?

  • Tina

Hi Brett! I was wondering which seating section is better for a indie-rock concert?
    Suite E3 or C6?

    Thank you!

  • Zia

First time on your site….looking for two tickets for Cher as a present for my friends 50th birthday. Do all the “premiere” sections come with special access to a bar and seat service? That might be cool for her… Staples Center July 7

  • Kennyk

Looking to take my family to a Sparks game and noticed Suite C22 has SRO and GA ticktes available. Do I want to stay away from the SRO and does the GA mean we will have seats available to sit in? Not sure what to expect or do.

    • Jack Slingland

Hi Kenny – SRO or Standing Room Only means just that, so I would advise staying away from those. GA may provide you access to seats, but you will be sharing the suite with others most likely, so I would advice purchasing regular seats in the lower bowl.

  • Dang!

Would you rather go with Section 103 Row 1, or Section 111 Row 19. Im pretty short 5’0″ so I would hate it if tall people blocked my veiw, but I would like it if I was as close to the stage as possible.

    Thanks!

    • Dang!

its for Concert at Staples Center by the way

    • Jack Slingland

Hi – Personally I like to be as close to the stage as possible, but being in the first row in section 103 would be better than row 19 in section 111. Also depending on the concert, the stage might extend into the floor, putting you closer to the performer if you are in section 103.

  • Laz

Hi Brett- I am set to attend a Lakers game @ staples for the first time. I will be sitting in section 107 Row B seats 4, 5. How good is the view from there? Are people going to be sitting courtside in front of this section? Also, any recommendations on must haves from the concession there at staples? Thanks in advance!

  • Faith

Is suite C 6, a good seat? Or am I better off in a lodge seat?

Hello, I’d like to take my boys to the Mackelmore concert on Dec 4th and am trying to decide best available seats for them to have a really great 1st concert experience. I’m thinking premier seats or maybe suite seats for the amenities will be best for us. What would you suggest? Thank you.

  • freespirit

I’m hoping to snag some tix to PINK and am driving over 2 hours on a budget… how are the 117 (seats 9/10) or 219 row 6? Both bad or reasonable? Might I enjoy the concert or lots of obstruction?

  • matt

Hi,I have tickets to a lakers game, section 112 row 13.Just wondering if this is a good spot to see the game.Cheers Matt

    • http://www.tickpick.com/ Brett Goldberg

Matt – Those are definitely considered good Lakers tickets for the Staples Center.

  • martin

Hi, I’ve a two tickets for the legendary Bon Jovi concert in the suite 16A, GA. Question: how is the view to the stage and the atmosphere in this suite? Thank you for you short feedback. Martin

    • http://www.tickpick.com/ Brett Goldberg

The atmosphere of the suite at the Staples Center is all going to be dependent on the Suite owners. However the view should be pretty good and I would imagine you will enjoy the suite itself.

  • igzo99

Hello, my wife and I purchased 4 tickets for the Depeche Mode concert. The couple that we were planning on going with had to back out. We want to sell our tickets, but we believe they may be split up and unfortunately, we do not know what seat is where. Could you please tell us what our seating arrangement is so that we can figure out which tickets we can sell?

    Seat Info:
    PR10
    Row: 9
    Seat: 1-4

Any help would be much appreciated!

    • http://www.tickpick.com/ Brett Goldberg

That’s just section 10 row 9 seats 1 thru 4. The PR stands for Premier Seating for the Staples Center.

      • igzo99

Thank you for your response; however, we are still unsure if the seats are next to each other, split up or behind one another. When we purchased them, we chose the option to accept split seating, but are not sure if that is what we ended up with. Can you tell from the information that I provided whether or not are seats are all together?

        • http://www.tickpick.com/ Brett Goldberg

Seats 1, 2, 3 and 4 are together given all of the information I have. Feel free to try calling Staples Center Box Office: (213) 742-7340

  • monkypause

Alright. I am officially annoying, but any information regarding NIN tix would be appreciated. Like why there are no floor tix available. Is it all going to be a mosh pit?
    …I knew I should have posted anonymously…

    • http://www.tickpick.com/ Brett Goldberg

The floor is a pit, also called general admission for the NIN concert at Staples Center. If you click on “seat rating” you can see them, it’s where the floor sections are, but they remove all of the seats. GA for NIN are very expensive (~$350). Here’s the official Nine Inch Nails seating chart for Staples Center.

  • monkypause

OK… The seating chart above is different than the one that is shown during ticket selection. I would like to know exactly where the stage ends, and if there are curtains or other things blocking the side of the stage. What sec is no longer at the side of the stage? ( I didn’t really ask a question in my previous post.)
Please answer soon. I need to buy the tickets while I have the money! Thanks!

  • monkypause

I notice that your seating chart differs from the one found on other ticket sites. Yours puts sec 113 and half of 112 at side of stage, where others show sec 113 just in front of stage. If your map is correct, sec 111 would not be so far away… I want to be close as possible, but not obstructed

  • matt

Hi,I was just wondering if section 119 101 or 111 would be the best to see a lakers game. Thanks

    • Jack Slingland

      Matt,

Sections 101 or 111 would be best because that would put you at center court whereas 119 would put you behind the Lakers bench. In 101 you would be on the same side as the players, and in 101 you would be facing the benches. That doesn’t necessarily make a difference but thought it was worth noting.

You can find our No Fee Laker tickets here: http://www.tickpick.com/search/lakers/

Sections 101 and 11 are also going to be more expensive than 119.

  • Martha Luna

I am going to the Taylor Swift concert on Friday and I my seats in 108 row 6, good or bad seats?

  • Mishy

I’m buying tix for Taylor Swift concert this Friday and trying to decide which seats would be best. I would rather be closer to the stage and have a side view than to be further away and looking straight at the stage. These are the seats I’m trying to decide from: Sec 332, Row 6…Sec 320, Row 3…Sec 334, Row 9…Sec 318, Row 7…Sec 117, Row 19. Which would you recommend?

  • Buble

I have tickets to Michael Buble’s concert @ staples with a end stage setup. Tickets are located in FL3, row 4, seats 3 and 4. Can you confirm if we’ll be closer to mid (section 2) or end stage (section 100s)?

    Thanks!

    • peter

Seat 1 is closest to section FL2, in FL3. You’re in the 3rd and 4th seats out from section FL2, so rest assured, you have some pretty great tickets that are close to the center

  • Sydney

I have tickets to 1D section 106 row 9 but my ticket doesn’t say which 106 it also say Enter Aisle M5 Please Help

  • concert goer

what are the seat # that are aisle in the PR sections (spec PR 15)

    • http://www.facebook.com/brettiangoldberg Brett Ian Goldberg

It depends the row. The lower rows, have less seat numbers, while the higher rows have more seats. The low seat numbers will be on the aisle towards PR 14 and the higher seat numbers will be on the aisle towards PR 16.

  • Glamis babe

If we received Kings tickets for tomorrow nights game and it says “section B-40″ where are these located? I cannot seem to find this on any floor plan.. Thanks Jennifer

    • Peter D’Antonio

Section B is a suite level. Those seats come with extra amenities that you can read about above. B-40 specifically is its own little section between sections 10 and 314. Hope this helped!

  • mexijen

How are seats in section 333 for a concert, particularly Depeche Mode? I have tickets in that section in Row 7 seats 5-11. Will we have issues seeing the stage being that far to the side? Hoping these were a good buy.
    Thanks
    Jen

    • http://www.tickpick.com/ Brett Goldberg

Jen – The lower seat numbers are going to be closer to section 332, and you are getting pretty far to the side. I don’t know the exact seating configuration that Depeche is going to have at the Staples Center, so it’s hard to say with confidence. I would just be prepared for the worst, and if it’s an unobstructed view then it will be a nice surprise!

  • krazykruz

For floor seats, where does seat 1 start at? As in floor 3 row 8 seat 1

how many rows in floor 1? on the website to buy tickets directly floor 1 looks to have more rows than floor 2.

    • http://www.tickpick.com/ Brett Goldberg

If you are looking for Rolling Stones tickets at the Staples Center than floor 1 has more rows than floor 2. However, for regular concerts both sections typically have 25 rows. You can see row details for any event by going here (select your specific event for most accurate details): http://www.tickpick.com/staples-center-seating-chart/

  • jeff

You recommended sections 112 & 119 for End Stage Concerts. I was curious how much of an angle that is to the front of the stage? Are you looking at a profile view of the performing for most of the show? Are they really better than more of a straight view from sections 106 & 107? I can’t tell just from the seating chart & need your experience here! I am trying to make up my mind on some concert tickets….Thanks!

    • http://www.tickpick.com/ Brett Goldberg

Hi Jeff – Whether you are looking at tickets for Staples Center or anywhere else, I think it’s about personal preference. The fact that you are asking which seats are better, leads me to believe that you would prefer the straight on view better. If you don’t mind being further back, than that’s fine, but for concerts, I typically care more about getting closer to the stage verses the angle.

I would bet that tickets for the Staples Center in section 106 and 107 are going to be cheaper than 112 and 119. http://www.tickpick.com/staples-center-seating-chart/

  • greg

thats wrong below , the high numbers on that side are on your left hand side low numbers to the right when sitting in those seats/sections , I know bc I am an expert ticket seller!

    • http://www.facebook.com/brettiangoldberg Brett Ian Goldberg

Greg – You are right. I flipped around the number and orders (although the seating info above in the blog is correct). So to be clear, at the Staples Center when walking down the aisle between 110 and 111 the seats on the aisle of section 110 will be 20, 21 or 22. While the aisle seats of 111 will be seat numer 1.

  • jwhieb

How are the rows and seats for section 111 and 110 labeled .. If I am walking down the aisle between 111 and 110 do seats start at 1 or the highest ending number? At Staples Center.. Thanks

    • http://www.tickpick.com/ Brett Goldberg

At the Staples Center Arena the lower seat numbers are always adjacent to the higher section numbers. Therefore when walking down the aisle between 110 and 111 section 110 will start with seat number 1 and section 111 will start with seat number 21.

      • trudmyster

Hi there, random question. I see on stubhub site that the images show steel pillars on each side of the stage. My question is do these pillars obstruct your view if you are in section 119 or 112. Coming to the U.S for a concert all the way from Zimbabwe so need good views.

        • trudmyster

Sorry, also in sections 118 and 113. thank you!

          • http://www.tickpick.com/ Brett Goldberg

Not sure where you see steel pillars, but that’s going to depend on the concert you are looking at and the stage configuration they have.

Have you checked tickets on TickPick? They are going to be cheaper and we rank tickets based on how good of a deal it is.
