Bonnaroo is one of the biggest music festivals in the country and is held annually in Manchester, TN. This year’s lineup is incredible, and perhaps the deepest of any festival that we’ve seen in recent memory. Many will argue that it’s much better even than that of Coachella, which gets all of the publicity due to the sexier location (in California), but simply can’t hold a candle to this year’s Bonnaroo.
With an incredible lineup and reputation for being one of the best music festivals every year, fans who are looking to make it out always have plenty of questions before deciding to buy tickets, so we at TickPick have included important information about Bonnaroo in the blog below.

When is Bonnaroo Music Festival?
Bonnaroo is held annually over the course of a four day weekend in June. Bonnaroo 2019 is scheduled to span the weekend of Thursday, June 13th through Sunday, June 16th.
When Do Bonnaroo 2019 Tickets Go On Sale?
The official lineup has just been revealed ahead of the tickets officially going on sale on Thursday, January 10th. If you’re unable to purchase tickets to Bonnaroo Music Festival before they sell out this year, be sure to check out TickPick for the cheapest Bonnaroo tickets that never include any service fees.
How to Purchase Bonnaroo Passes
First thing’s first. If you want to get Bonnaroo Festival tickets for face value when they first go on sale, you’ll want to get an account on Front Gate Tickets, the official primary seller for Bonnaroo Festival.
Before purchasing, be sure to read up on the rules and regulations when it comes to buying tickets, ticket limits, etc. There are a lot. We’ve highlighted the main ones here, but it’s always good to know all the intricate details and really understand what you may be looking to buy, so check out the official FAQ page for answers to any of your questions.
Bonnaroo 2019 Lineup

Headlining the first night of Bonnaroo will be “The show that made country music famous” in the Grand Ole Opry, which is the second straight year the festival will be showcasing some of the best rising country performers to satisfy what should be thousands of local country fans who will be making the trek out to Bonnaroo.
Friday’s lineup is perhaps the most diverse of all, with headliners Phish and Childish Gambino set to end the night with a bang. Gambino, aka Donald Glover, has already been announced as a headliner for Coachella, but we’re willing to bet that if fans had a choice to catch him at either festival, it’d be this one. Jam band Phish has been known to have one of the most hardcore fan bases of any music act, and rest assured that the people in charge of booking talent for Bonnaroo are aware of this fact. Be prepared to see a diverse array of Phish fans that could be well into their 60s jamming out next to festival goers who aren’t able to legally purchase a beer from a vendor.
Saturday’s lineup is headlined by rapper, singer, and songwriter Post Malone, who’s had perhaps the most successful run of any artist in 2018, rising to stardom on the heels of his recent album Beerbongs & Bentleys, and being featured in seemingly every single that’s being played on the radio right now. Odesza will be performing to satiate fans of electronic music. In general, they put on one of the best live performances of any act that can play a festival setting.
Phish will be performing their second set of the festival on Sunday night, truly capturing how large and die-hard of a fan base that they have, as they’ll be headlining over acts like The Lumineers and Cardi B, who has been a headliner in pretty much every festival at which she’s performed over the last year or so. For her to be on the ticket but not headlining is a testament of how deep this festival’s lineup is.

More General Bonnaroo Information:

- Anyone camping on festival grounds must have a festival pass. Camping spots not bought with a festival pass through Front Gate will not be valid.
- Camping spots are limited to 1 per order.
- There are shuttles available to and from Nashville, certain hotels, and the airport
- Keep in mind that if you end up with passes that you can’t use, you can always resell them here on TickPick.
Does Bonnaroo Have Single-Day Tickets?
Most festivals only release full weekend passes – at first. As mentioned above, fans are given the option of purchasing a single-day ticket right from the get-go, but they will also be purchasing a Nashville shuttle package.
Once they sell out of all of their 4-day passes, Bonnaroo has typically released single day tickets for fans who are only looking to catch a single headliner. These single day passes hit the secondary market and do typically cost more than the price-per-day if you purchase the full weekend pass at once, but if you’re only looking to go for one day or can make it one day (or two, if you’re looking to catch both of Phish’s sets), it’s worth saving the money and going with the single day(s).

How to Get Sold Out Bonnaroo Tickets
If you weren’t able to secure tickets through any presales or general sales for Bonnaroo, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Tickets can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. With a festival as big as Bonnaroo, prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.
