The 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday, January 8th.  The matchup will pit two SEC rivals against each other, with the Alabama Crimson Tide making their third consecutive championship game appearance against the Georgia Bulldogs, who are vying for their first national championship since 1980.

Most of the fans attending the event have likely never sat inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium, so below you can find all the information you need to know before purchasing tickets. This includes row and seat numbers, seat views, fan sections, team benches, and much more. Once you give this a read through, you will be ready to browse the Cheapest College Football Championship Tickets.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium Seating Chart with Seat Views

The Best Cheap Seats at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

With 71,000 seats, Mercedes-Benz Stadium still has great views of the field in the 300 level. The sections closest to midfield (sections 309-314 and 337-342) are your best bet when purchasing upper level seats. The prime spot in the center ensures an equal view of all parts of the field.

Seat and Row Numbers

This year’s College Football National Championship Game seat numbers follow a common stadium pattern where seat number 1 is closest to the lower number section adjacent to it. For example, seat number 1 in section 134 will be closest to section 133, and and the highest seat number in section 134 will be closest to section 135.

  • The 100 level has 40 numbered rows on average and contains 22 seats per row in the majority of the sections.
  • The 200 level has 12 numbered rows on average and has an average of 20 seats per row.
  • The 300 level has 25 numbered rows on average and has an average of 24 seats per row.

College Football Championship Club Seating

Mercedes-Benz Stadium offers several different club seating options in the sections between the 20 yard lines, totaling 7,500 seats. Let us break down the options for you.

AMG Lounge & Suntrust Club

These are most exclusive clubs at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, located at field level along each sideline, with access only permitted for 300 executive member accounts. The field level access also provides exclusive views to the home and visiting team players entering and exiting the field from the private dining area within the club.

Mercedes Benz & North Champions Clubs

These clubs are for ticket holders in the 100 level club sections, which also have wider, padded seats. Ticket holders will be provided access to the on-field patio areas, plus lounge seating, private bars and restrooms, and top-notch dining options.

North & South Piedmont Clubs

These club are located on the mezzanine level, for ticket holders located in the C200 level club seats. Amenities include private restrooms and dining areas, with a perfect view of the 360 degree video halo board.

Where are the Team Benches for the CFP Championship?

The Sugar Bowl Champion’s (Alabama) bench will be located in front of sections C126 through C130.  The Rose Bowl Champion’s (Georgia) bench will be on the opposite side in front of C108 through C112.

College Football Playoff Championship Game Fan Seating

The CFP Championship has split up Mercedes-Benz Stadium for fan seating.  The confirmed sections allocated to UGA fans will be in sections 111-121 in the lower level, then 214-221 moving up, and in the upper levels, sections 303-322.  We haven’t yet received confirmation from Alabama’s side if that will be mirrored on the other side of the field, but it’s more than likely the case.  We would advise that any Georgia fans look to sit on the side of the stadium where the team bench will be, and the other side for ‘Bama fans, lest you want to be in a sea of the opposing team’s fans.
