Rock jam band Dead & Company have just announced a short run of upcoming fall tour dates. The band consists of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kruetzmann, and are joined by other musicians like Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti, and rock superstar John Mayer to form this group that has been known to put on an amazing show and is the best thing this side of the original Dead with Jerry Garcia.
These tour dates will begin on Halloween at Madison Square Garden and will continue through November 9th in Hampton, VA.
Fans can expect tickets for this tour to be in major demand because of their high profile and dedicated fan base who have been “Deadheads” for years, which begs the question: when do Dead & Company tickets go on sale and how can you get cheap tickets?
When Do Dead & Company Tickets Go On Sale and What are the Presale Codes?
The on sale date for the general public begins on Friday, August 23rd at 10 am local time. If you go this route, we recommend reading up on how to buy tickets on Ticketmaster fast.
If you’re looking to get tickets ahead of that date to get an early start on the market, you can use the following presales and codes that we’ve found below.
- Verified Fan, Platinum Ticket and American Express Cardmember presales will begin on Tuesday, August 20th at 10 am local time and fans may use the AMEX presale code INGOLD, but keep in mind that you’ll need to use an AMEX card in order to complete your purchase.
- There will be Venue, Radio, Ticketmaster, LiveNation and LiveNation Mobile App presales that will take place on Thursday, August 22nd at 10 am local time. The LiveNation presale code will be SHAKEIT, while the Mobile App presale code will be COVERT.
We always recommend following artists and the local venue’s social media pages and signing up for their newsletters in order to get the most up-to-date information, though be aware that presales and ticket release dates may vary and are subject to change.
Are There Any Purchase Limits for Dead & Company Tickets?
There is an overall four (4) ticket limit for this event. Failure to adhere to these limits or exceeding these limits while purchasing tickets through these presales can put your orders at risk of getting cancelled by the venues and/or TicketMaster.
How To Get Sold Out Dead & Company Tickets
If you weren’t able to secure tickets through any presales or general sales for Dead & Company, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Tickets can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. With a band that has a major following like this, prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.
