Last month, French Montana released his Drake collaboration “No Stylist”, which instantly made waves due to the shots fired at Kanye West during Drake’s verse, adding to the already sizzling beef. Now, weeks later, French Montana has unleashed the cameo-packed music video for “No Stylist”, featuring A$AP Rocky, Slick Rick, Young Thug, and more. Check out the visuals for “No Stylist”—which is still set to appear on French Montana’s forthcoming album—below.
The “No Stylist” video brought French Montana back to his hometown of the Bronx. In the Glenn Michael and Christo-directed clip, French is hosting a fashion show, riding along with legendary rapper Slick Rick, and the two rappers partying in a mansion of models.
“We went to the Bronx and we shot the video, it has Slick Rick and the old school car with the Louis Vuitton seats and the Gucci seats. We had Cam’ron,” French told Zane Lowe on Beats 1. “Dapper Dan, when he used to have his boutique, people used to go to him because he knew how to put certain looks together that they couldn’t even do for these big brands.”
“No Stylist” is the latest single from French Montana’s forthcoming album, which follows 2017’s Jungle Rules. “I come from the mixtape era—we just dropped shit. I’m going to make sure this one gets the respect it deserves,” he said in a recent interview. Considering Jungle Rules was certified gold, we think French’s new album will definitely get the love it warrants.
