Foo Fighters 2015 Tour Speculation

The Foo Fighters have an upcoming album and some preliminary tour dates announced, so it’s only a matter of time before they announce a big tour for 2015, right?

The band has already confirmed that they will be in South America in January for their first official tour dates of 2015, playing a string of 7 shows in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia. Recently, they played three intimate club gigs in the UK, as well as a headlining performance at the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games in London. The only US shows they have announced so far are festival appearances at the Life Is Beautiful Festival in Vegas and the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans, both of which are taking place in the coming weeks. In addition, they are playing two shows in South Africa in December.

Foo Fighters will release their new album “Sonic Highways” on November 10, with 8 tracks recorded in 8 different studios in 8 different US cities. The band also has an upcoming 8-episode HBO documentary series called “Sonic Highways” that will chronicle the making of the album. The series will debut October 17, along with the album’s lead single.

The band has also just announced that they’ll be doing a week-long residency as musical guests on “The Late Show With David Letterman” from October 13-17.

With all this Foo Fighters news, it’s likely that the band will announce more tour details soon, but for now we’ll just have to wait and see.
