The Who: Moving On! Tour | How to Get the Cheapest Tickets

Legendary British rock band The Who have just announced an upcoming symphonic tour to be held across North American arenas this year. This tour will serve to help promote an upcoming studio album – their first since 2006’s Endless Wire – and will include a local symphony joining the band on each performance. Lead singer Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will prove that they still have plenty left in the tank in front of what are sure to be sold out arenas all over major cities across the US and Canada.

These tour dates will begin on May 7th in Grand Rapids, MI and they will extend through October 23rd in Edmonton, CA.

Find no fee The Who Tickets

Fans can expect tickets for this tour to be in major demand due to this band’s loyal legion of fans who have been following The Who for over six decades, which begs the question: when do The Who tickets go on sale and how can you get cheap tickets?

When Do The Who Tickets Go On Sale and What are the Presale Codes?

The on-sale date for the general public begins on Friday, January 18th at 10am local time.  If you go this route, we recommend reading up on how to buy tickets on Ticketmaster fast.

If you’re looking to get tickets ahead of that date to get an early start on the market, you can use the following presales and codes that we’ve found below.

  • There will be a The Who Fan Club presale that will take place at 10am on Wednesday, January 16th. VIP Packages will also go on presale at this time.
  • A Chase Cardmember presale will follow on Thursday, January 17th at 10am local time. The Chase presale code will be 541712, but keep in mind that you’ll need to be using a Chase card in order to complete your purchase. Ticketmaster, LiveNation and LiveNation Mobile App presales will also take place at this, and the LiveNation presale code will be CELEBRATE, while the LiveNation Mobile App presale code will be COVERT. Radio presales will also take place at this time.

We always recommend following artists and the local venue’s social media pages and signing up for their newsletters in order to get the most up-to-date information, though be aware that presales and ticket release dates may vary and are subject to change.

Are There Any Purchase Limits for The Who Tickets?

There is a four (4) ticket limit for The Who Fan Club Presale and Baba O’Riley Ultimate Soundcheck Package. There is an eight (8) ticket limit for the rest of the event. Failure to adhere to these limits or exceeding these limits while purchasing tickets through these presales can put your orders at risk of getting cancelled by the venues and/or TicketMaster.

How To Get the Cheapest The Who Tickets

If you weren’t able to secure tickets through any presales or general sales for The Who, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Tickets can still be purchased from secondary marketplaces, although the prices will not be at face value. With a band as huge as The Who, prices are anticipated to be on the higher side, but that doesn’t mean that good deals can’t be had – if you know where to look.

With high prices come high service fees with many marketplaces, but not TickPick. Here at TickPick we have no service fees, making us your source for the cheapest The Who tickets on the secondary market.  If you have not used TickPick before, you can sign up with the link below for $10 off your first purchase.
