Lollapalooza, the premier multi-genre music festival which takes over Chicago’s Grant Park every year, has finally announced their 2018 lineup. The 4-Day fest boasts superstars of both rock and R&B. At the top of the roster sits Jack White, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, and the Arctic Monkeys. Vampire Weekend is listed in the second line, confirming the band’s first live performance in four years, just one of the many nested surprises in the 2018 Lollapalooza lineup.
The National, St. Vincent, Portugal. The Man, Greta Van Fleet and Chvrches are among the alt-rock acts set to perform at the long-running festival, while some hip-hop acts include Logic, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Tyler the Creator, Brockhampton and yes, you see it correctly: LL Cool J.
Lollapalooza 2018 will also feature its founder and Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell performing alongside his Kind Heaven project, an all-star lineup of guest musicians. They will be performing music from his forthcoming, solo album. Check out the full Lollapalooza 2018—set to take place August 2nd-5th—lineup below.
Last year, Arcade Fire, Run the Jewels, Chance the Rapper and Lorde were recruited to headline Lollapalooza. But due to hazardous weather, the fest was forced to prematurely end Thursday’s performances—including Lorde’s headlining set. But do not be deterred festival goers, because even if another headlining set gets shut down due to weather, you’re bound to see dozens of incredible sets over the course of the weekend.
Lollapalooza 2018 tickets—ranging from 4-Day to Single Day Passes—are on sale now.
