Marilyn Manson Drops New Single and Details New Album

Back in July, Marilyn Manson announced his upcoming North American tour dates, in addition to hinting that his follow-up to 2015’s The Pale Emperor was finally nearing its arrival. The upcoming album was originally given the controversial title SAY10, but in the process of delaying the album’s release from its initial slated Valentine’s Day release, Manson added a few more tracks and gave the project a new name.

Just yesterday, Marilyn Manson detailed his 10th studio album Heaven Upside Down and shared the album’s first single, aggressively titled “WE KNOW WHERE YOU F*CKING LIVE”. The intense new track debuted Monday on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show. “WE KNOW WHERE YOU F*CKING LIVE” finds Manson ominously lamenting the corruption of a society which is too desensitized to realize its own demise, all while alluding to the increase of surveillance and the use of drones in a civilized state. You can check out the official audio below.

Heaven Upside Down is out October 6th, and is available for pre-order now. “It’s not very much in any way like The Pale Emperor,” Manson previously told Rolling Stone of his new album. “The people who have heard the new songs said it reminded them of their favorite parts of Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals – but with a new, different approach. It’s pretty violent in its nature for some reason.”
