Super Bowl Parking Breakdown
Parking Lots will open at 11AM the morning of the Super Bowl and will remain open 2 hours after the final whistle blows. You must pay for parking in advance, you won’t be permitted into the NRG Stadium lots without a pass. There are not shuttle services from any parking lots, so plan on walking from your car if you are driving to the game!
Uber Drop Off Lot – If you plan on taking an Uber to Super Bowl 51, you will be dropped off in Maroon lot 14. Check the map above to see exactly where that is.
Taxi Drop Off Lot – If you’re taking a good ole fashion taxi to Super Bowl 51, you will be dropped off in the Brown Lot, which is a little bit closer to NRG Stadium, but further from the Gameday Fan Plaza.
Tailgating – Tailgating is not permitted at any of the On Location parking lots as well as any NFL sanctioned lot at the stadium. You can bring food and beverages, but traditional tailgating items like grills and tents are not permitted.
If you didn’t rent a car in Houston and don’t want to deal with Uber or taxi services, the MetroRail Red Line is the best option for you. The drop off location at NRG Stadium is just outside Lot 12.
