SZA Announces North American Tour Dates

It’s been one month since SZA, the only female artist signed on to famed Top Dawg Entertainment, dropped her highly anticipated debut album CTRLThe album, which has been lauded as one of the best to come out this Summer, features Travis Scott, Isaiah Rashad, and the one and only Kung-Fu Kenny. SZA’s CTRL is a soulful and honest meandering on what it means to be an artist in your 20-something’s and should be listened to ASAP, if you haven’t had the chance to fall in love with it already.

Just yesterday, SZA announced CTRL the Tour, which will take her extensively across North America. The dates kick off in mid-August in Richmond, Virginia and run straight through early October, where SZA will finish off in Charlotte, North Carolina. A second leg then picks up on December 8th in Norfolk, Virginia, and will finish up just a few shows later in St. Louis. SZA will be supported by St. Louis rapper Smino and Ravyn Lenae for most shows. You can check out the Instagram announcement below:

It’s been an incredible year for SZA, as CTRL leaped near the top of the charts after its first week of sales. The album’s lead singles, “Drew Barrymore” (whose music video features a cameo from the real Drew Barrymore) and “Love Galore” have already become staples on the contemporary R&B front. After announcing the list of tour dates on both her Instagram and Twitter pages, SZA shared some art to go along with it, accompanied by SZA tunes.
