The Best Reaction to the Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup Win

Dynasty. It’s much more than a wacky television show from the 80s. If you’re the Chicago Blackhawks, it’s what you’ve secured following the team’s series-clinching Game 6 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Finals. The Blackhawks’ NHL championship victory marks the franchise’s third title in the past six years; a period of dominance reminiscent of the NBA‘s San Antonio Spurs and one that warrants usage of the D-word.

Reactions to the latest Stanley Cup win from fans and players alike have been amazing. Following the series finale, Chicago’s locker room was abuzz as Blackhawks players crooned Queen’s “We Are The Champions” in celebration. In one of the more poignant moments of the whole affair, retiring defenseman Kimmo Timonen cried tears of joy as he captured his first major championship after several near-misses at the World Junior Championships, the Olympics, the World Cup and the 2010 Stanley Cup Final.

As great as those moments were, the best reaction to Patrick Kane, Corey Crawford and the Blackhawks crew taking the trophy may have been captured by WGN TV Chicago when the station took to the streets to capture the pulse of Blackhawks fans–

Amazing.
