We’ve only picked our favorites, so check out who made the cut below.

Katy PerryWitness

Katy Perry

Album Release Date: June 9, 2017

Upcoming Tour Dates: September 7 – February 5, 2018

Katy Perry is getting ready to release her fourth studio album Witness, a record which she dubbed the phrase “purposeful pop”. Witness will contain already released singles “Swish Swish”, “Chained to the Rhythm”, and “Bon Appetit”. We expect to hear Witness in most alcohol-pumped dance venues and to see several singles on Billboard‘s chart of hits.

PhoenixTi Amo

Phoenix

Album Release Date: June 9, 2017

Upcoming Tour Dates: June 7 – June 15, 2017

Phoenix, one of the hippest indie rock bands active today, will release their sixth studio album, the highly anticipated follow-up to 2013’s Bankrupt! Though it took three albums and nearly a decade of work before Phoenix took off to critical acclaim with 2009’s Wolfgang Amadeus, it feels like Phoenix has been there all along. The band started working on their upcoming album Ti Amo back in 2013, after a year long tour for Bankrupt! According to an article from Spin, Phoenix created three albums worth of songs during the Ti Amo sessions, proving they are still one of the more professional and prolific bands of our time.

SZACTRL

SZA

Album Release Date: June 9, 2017

Upcoming Tour Dates: TBA

SZA, the unofficial first lady of TDE, is getting ready to release her first full album. And from the looks of the CTRL track-list, it appears that there will be some heavyweight rappers behind SZA’s deeply personal debut. Collaborators include Travis Scott and label mates Kendrick Lamar and Isaiah Rashad. Her previously released songs “Drew Barrymore”, “Broken Clocks”, and “Love Galore” (with La Flame) are included on the final cut of CTRL.

LordeMelodrama

Lorde

Album Release Date: June 16, 2017

Upcoming Tour Dates: TBA

Lorde’s sophomore album Melodrama is coming to us this Summer, and we can’t wait for all of the incredible singles it’s bound to contain. So far, Lorde has released “Green Light” with a stunning music video, and “Liability”, a song that was inspired by Rihanna’s “Higher”. Lorde describes her first album as an enshrining of teenage glory, and her latest, an exploration of what comes next, of being an independent adult in New York City, of living on her own, and falling out of the spotlight in order to be the artist she wants to be. Not much is known about the collaborators Lorde enlisted to create Melodrama, but we do know that it was co-produced by former Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff. We can’t wait for the arrival of Melodrama. In the meantime, check out Lorde’s incredible “Green Light” music video.

After four years of silence, a strange silence considering they were releasing new albums every year since their debut back in 2006, Portugal. The Man is finally nearing the release of their new album, Woodstock. The album has been preceded by two singles, “So Young” and “Feel It Still”, both of which are evocative of their alternative style but with more R&B influences. According to the band, Woodstock is a way to address today’s political and social tension in a lighthearted, yet real way.

Over the course of his short career, Vince Staples has collaborated with several artists, including Earl Sweatshirt, Common, Ghostface Killah, and most recently the Gorillaz. His third LP, Big Fish Theory, is sure to be a momentous banger.

HaimSomething to Tell You

Haim

Upcoming Tour Dates: August 19 – September 12, 2017

It’s been nearly four years since the release of Haim’s debut album Days Are Gone, an album that catapulted them to internationally recognized fame. Not many bands land slots at major music festivals such as Glastonbury or Coachella without at least a few years beneath their belts, but Haim clearly had some stakes to claim. Haim will release their sophomore album Something to Tell You which includes the singles “Right Now” and “Want You Back”.

Lana Del ReyLust for Life

Lana Del Rey

Album Release Date: July 21, 2017

Fans will finally be blessed with Lana Del Rey’s new album Lust for Life this Summer, and from what we’ve heard from it already, it looks like an album to get excited about. Most recently, Lana Del Rey dropped the title single “Lust for Life”, which featured The Weeknd. But among the guest list is a true standout, an icon who has us incredibly excited to listen to Lust for Life. The track “Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems” will feature the one and only Stevie Nicks, making this one of the most exciting collaborations we’ll get to hear this Summer.
