Calling all lonely Starbucks lovers: the one and only Taylor Swift will be playing two shows in Denver as part of her highly anticipated 1989 World Tour. Swift recently left her country roots behind only to emerge as a full-fledged pop singer. Having moved closer to a poppier sound with each album release over the years, her transition into a bona fide pop star is now complete, as evidenced by her latest album, 1989, which is chock-full of catchy, radio-friendly hits like the smash singles “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space.” With multiple Grammy Awards, platinum album sales, a number of film and television roles, a ubiquitous presence on Top 40 radio stations, and nearly as many Twitter followers as Barack Obama, there’s no doubt that Swift has become one of the biggest stars of our time. Haters gonna hate hate hate, but it looks like that’s not about to change anytime soon.

German electronic band Kraftwerk arose in the 1970s, debuting a robotic yet poppy sound that would become a major influence for countless artists, including David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Bjork, and Joy Division. They’ve had such an impact, in fact, that in early 2014 the band was honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for their pioneering influence and popularization of electronic music. Fans will actually each be given a pair of 3D glasses at the venue so that they can get the full visual experience.

Few bands are as synonymous with ’80s hard rock as Def Leppard. Originally formed in 1977 in Sheffield, U.K., the band went on to become one of the best-selling artists in the world. They have two diamond-certified albums, with their 1983 record Pyromania and its 1987 follow-up Hysteria selling over 10 million copies each. Remaining relevant after all these years, Def Leppard is ready to release their eleventh studio album. The new, self-titled record is due out in October.
