The Super Mega Ultra Giant Mad Decent Block Party Festival: Foxborough, MA
Remember when Diplo and his fellow DJs threw little block parties up in Philly, and you could just walk up, without a ticket, and party? Though these events may be relics of the past, Diplo is revitalizing the Mad Decent Block Party with the Super Mega Ultra Giant Mad Decent Block Party FESTIVAL, a two-day romp that will feature artists of many genres, but predominately EDM. This year’s inaugural festival will feature sets from Billie Eilish, Major Lazer, G-Eazy, and Miguel. Other musicians slated to perform the “Mega Ultra Giant” festival include Dillon Francis, A Boogie Wit a Hoodie, Flosstradamus, Kodak Black, Pusha T, and more.

Coachella: Indio Valley, CA
April 12-14 & April 19-21
Though not primarily an EDM music festival, Coachella’s lineup is largely comprised of EDM acts. The EDM acts to see at this year’s Coachella music festival are DJ Snake, Diplo, Bassnectar, Kayzo, Aphex Twin, Zedd, Gesaffelstein, and Dillon Francis. Many of these EDM acts will be playing later in the afternoon, hyping crowds just before the headlining sets.
Wet Electric: Tempe, AZ

SunFest: West Palm Beach, FL
May 2-5, 2019
The luxurious, multi-genre SunFest Music Festival will be headlined by country and pop acts (Keith Urban, G-Eazy, One Republic), but nestled in the lineup are three incredible EDM acts to qualify buying a ticket: Diplo, Big Gigantic, and Manic Focus. The rest of the 2019 SunFest lineup is supplemented by indie and alternative performers.
Big Dub Festival: Artemas, PA

Did you know that every year at Four Quarters Farm is a camping EDM festival? The Big Dub Festival is just one of many offerings the North and Eastern U.S has to offer. The fest organizers are currently preparing the 2019 lineup and it should be announced sometime in May. Past Big Dub lineups have included: Doctor P, Manic Focus, Modestep, Apashe, Caspa, and more.

Electric Zoo: NY, NY

Every year, the now premier EDM fest Electric Zoo takes over Randall’s Island Park for their immersive, themed festivals. Electric Zoo Evolved, the name of 2019’s fest, has yet to announce their lineup. But E Zoo has yet to disappoint in that regard. Last year’s Electric Zoo lineup included: Marshmello, Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Alesso, Bonnie x Clyde, Kaskade, and more.
Neon Desert Festival: El Paso, TX

Set in the desert of El Paso, TX is a multi-genre music festival that is fairly unknown, despite landing huge talent for eight years now. Though hip-hop leaning, the 2019 Neon Desert Festival lineup includes EDM acts such as: Rezz, Steve Aoki, Tchami, Deorro, and more. Other, non-EDM gems in the 2019 lineup are Kali Uchis, Miguel, Tory Lanez, and Wiz Khalifa.
Lollapalooza: Chicago, IL
August 1-4, 2019
Lollapalooza, with its diverse, wide-ranging, and star-studded lineup. Since becoming a 4-Day festival, Lollapalooza has maintained competition with the two weekends of Coachella as they vie for position as America’s best music festival. Lollapalooza, in its ascent, never managed to shy away from its EDM components. This year, the 2019 Lollapalooza lineup features EDM acts such as: RL Grime, Gryffin, The Chainsmokers, Flume, Manic Focus, Said the Sky, and more.
Outside Lands: San Francisco, CA

The storied Golden Gate Park music festival has two huge EDM acts in their top tier of performers. What is the Moonrise Music Festival? Two days of music, across four stages, at the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore. Moonrise is by far the biggest EDM fest in the area. Though the lineup has yet to be announced—Phase One will be announced sometime in April—last year’s Moonrise Festival lineup included Diplo, DJ Snake, Kaskade, Nghtmre, Excision, Galantis, Griz, Illenium, Zeds Dead, and more.
Imagine Music Festival: Hampton, GA

Who knew there were “aquatic fairytales” taking place every Summer at the Atlanta Motor Speedway? The Imagine Music Festival has one of the most expansive EDM lineups on the circuit. Wobbleland: Philedelphia, PA

Wobbleland Philly has locked down a stellar lineup for this year’s attendees. The veteran events production company continues to curate small, relevant lineups for their EDM concerts. The two-day, 2019 Wobbleland Festival in Philadelphia will be headlined by Zeds Dead. The recently rebranded Second Sky Festival will feature a must-see for EDM fans out there: Porter Robinson’s only “Worlds Live” set of 2019. In addition to this rarified set, Robinson’s Second Sky Festival will feature a set from Madeon, of which he’s known and worked with for years now. G Jones, Nina Las Vegas, Kero Kero Bonito, Cashmere Cat and Anamanaguchi are also included on the lineup of Robinson’s event.
Firefly: Dover, DE

The Woodlands of Dover Delaware will continue to welcome a number of EDM acts onto their premises for the annual Firefly Music Festival. The 2019 Firefly lineup is particularly EDM leaning, with Kygo, Zedd, Awolnation, and Alison Wonderland all scheduled for prime festival slots. Panic! At the disco, Passion Pit, Death Cab for Cutie, Travis Scott, Tyler, the Creator, and Brockhampton will also be in attendance.
The Greatest Day Ever Festival: Brooklyn, NY

Taking place in the Coney Island Ford Amphitheater is The Greatest Day Ever Festival—though somewhat of a misnomer, as the festival spans two days. Presented by Adidas, The Greatest Day Ever Festival is bringing some incredible EDM talent to the boardwalk this Summer. The hip-hop leaning 2019 Greatest Day Ever lineup includes EDM acts Carnage, Cashmere Cat, Zeds Dead, Snakehips, Party Favor, and others.
Capitol Hill Block Party: Seattle, WA

Not to be confused with the neighborhood in Washington D.C, the Capitol Hill Block Party is a multi-genre music fest that will take over Seattle this July. Featuring an art walk and the best food vendors the city has to offer, the Capitol Hill Block Party would be a great event for those EDM fans out there who want a more broad, less traditional festival experience. The 2019 Capitol Hill Block Party will feature EDM artists: RL Grime, Snakehips, Medasin, Shallou, Yves Tumor, and more.
Life Is Beautiful: Las Vegas, NV

Vast in talent and music genres, the Life is Beautiful Festival maintains its energy and momentum with the help of EDM performers. Though the 2019 lineup has yet to be announced, last year’s Life Is Beautiful Festival featured a number of top-tier EDM acts, such as: DJ Snake, Justice, What So Not, RL Grime, Alison Wonderland, Cashmere Cat, and more.
DJs on Tour
This Fall, Canadian record producer and DJ Deadmau5 will embark on a North American tour featuring his newly renovated, “Cube V3”. The Cube, first designed with Chris Schroeder and Collyns Stenzel, will now be able to rotate on a more acute angle, further punctuating Deadmau5’s meticulously designed sets. The 16-date trek will launch in September and—so far, as more shows are TBA—will conclude in early 2020.
