Will FKA Twigs Tour in 2019?

FKA Twigs. The alt-R&B singer whose style and haute art performances have captivated audiences around the globe. The South London born singer/songwriter dropped “Cellophane” in April, along with a short round of tour dates which brought her to L.A’s Palace Theater and NYC’s Red Bull Music Festival. She will return to NYC in August for Brooklyn’s Afropunk Festival, her presence being a huge draw for the crowd.

But will these limited dates be the end of her long-awaited return? It’s been three years since she’s really hit the road, which begs the question: Will FKA Twigs Tour in 2019? For those of you who are unfamiliar with the incredible performance standard of an FKA Twigs show, let us assure you, she has the bravery of Björk. The style consciousness of Beyonce. And music and pipes all her own. Just check out the music video for “Cellophane”, which nearly says it all.

According to reviews from her Palace Theater shows, FKA Twigs deployed a stunning set-up, which included a pole, a sword dance, plenty of gorgeous outfits, and—most importantly—some new music. FKA Twigs has confirmed that a new album is on the way, and should be out sometime this year. And we’re very confident this will happen, as she has already performed seven of her new songs live during her latest shows, titled Magdalene.

FKA Twigs tickets are no commodity to sleep on, as her high performance standards have drawn sell-out crowds for just about every tour she’s embarked on. So, Will FKA Twigs Tour in 2019? Extensively, bringing her beautiful, fully-realized live shows to audiences nationwide and abroad? We think so, if not by the end of 2019, then at the top of 2020. All you FKA Twigs fans out there, be on the look out 1. For a new single, as she will definitely be putting one out ahead of announcing a tour and 2. An announcement for a 2019-20 tour.
